DR. ALFRED WILLIAM:
MBBS. AMC. FRACGP

Dr. Alfred William is a General Practitioner who graduated from Assiut University, Egypt, in 1982.
He migrated to Australia in 1989 and prior to this worked as a General Practitioner in Sudan for seven years. He has passed the AMC qualifying exams and is a member and fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has been practising in Australia since 1993. His experience is in all aspects of Medicine, Paediatrics, Minor Surgical Procedures and Women’s Health.

Dr. Alfred William is married with three children. He enjoys playing cards, swimming, snooker and BBQ’s.

DR. LILIAN REZK:
M.B. Ch.B. AMC, FRACGP

Dr. Lilian Rezk is a General Practitioner who graduated from Tanta Faculty of Medicine, Egypt, in 1984.
She migrated to Australia in 1985. She has passed the AMC qualifying exams and worked in various hospitals in Melbourne for 3 years. She started working in general practice in 1993.

Dr. Rezk is a member and fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and the Australian Medical Association. She is involved in training overseas doctors and sits as an examiner for the RACGP for the GP fellowship exam. She is also a GP Affiliate of the Department of General Medicine at Monash University. She trains medical students on General Practice rotation.

Her special interests include Women’s Health, Paediatrics, Mental Health and Minor Surgical Procedures. Dr. Rezk is accredited for shared antenatal care of pregnant women with Eastern Health, Mercy Hospital for Women, Royal Women’s hospital, The Northern Hospital and Sunshine Hospitals.
Dr. Lilian Rezk is fluent in Arabic, French and English. She is married with 3 children.

DR. PETER WILLIAM:
MBBS. AMC. FRACGP

Dr. Peter William is a General Practitioner who graduated from Alexandria University, Egypt, in 1984.
He migrated to Australia in 1994. He has passed the AMC qualifying exams and is a member and fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has been selected to belong to the rural workforce agency Victoria in the advisory group for overseas-trained Doctors. He has great experience having worked in isolated
rural areas for over 5 years, namely in Ouyen. He has taught medical students in preparation for work in rural areas, and sits as an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has been involved in a lot of activities belonging to the Malee Division, this included a teaching program for overseas-trained
Doctors. He worked unsupervised and independently. He has experience in Urgent Medical Conditions, Surgical Trauma, Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Ear, Nose, Throat and Skin Problems, and all kinds of emergencies.

Dr. Peter William is married with 3 children. His hobbies include exceptional skills in Soccer, he was a National player in Volleyball for his home country, and he is skilled at table tennis. He enjoys dining and entertainment.

SPECIALISTS:

GASTROENTEROLOGIST – DR. MAY-LING WONG

MBBS, (HONS) FRACP

Dr. May-Ling Wong is a Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist who graduated from Monash University. Dr. May-Ling Wong practices at our clinic on a fortnightly basis. She trained at the Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre, obtaining her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2002- She worked in Far North Queensland for two years, at Cairns Base Hospital, where she was involved in the outreach program. servicing the Indigenous Communities of the Cape York and Torres Straits. She is currently a member of the senior medical staff at Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital and Epworth Hospital in Richmond. May-Ling is a principle investigator in a number of clinical trials in the Liver SL Hepatitis Clinic at Box Hill Hospital, where she is also involved in Physician Training. She is involved in clinical research and medical student teaching at Monash University. May-Ling is a member of the Australian Medical Association and the American Gastroenterological Association. She has accreditation with the Conjoint Committee for gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

PSYCHOLOGIST- MRS. MARY BOTROS:

BPsySC(Psy), GraDip(Psy), MPsy (Clinical)

Mrs Botros has completed several degrees in psychology, namely Bachelor of Psychological Science, Graduate Diploma of Psychology and Masters of Psychology (Clinical). Mrs Botros has worked in Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales, which has provided her with the ability to gain experience in working with children, adolescents and adults. Mrs Botros has facilitated group therapy workshops, and administered psychological assessments. She has experience in the following areas:

– ADHD – Drug and alcohol abuse

– Autism – Grief and loss

– Relationship Counseling – Anger management

– Depression – Stress management

– Anxiety – Self-esteem issues

– Trauma – Family Therapy

Mrs Botros is married and enjoys socializing with friends, traveling with her husband, dining out, playing basketball, and swimming.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST – MR. JUSTIN McGRATH:

Justin McGrath is our visiting Physiotherapist who is available on a weekly basis. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in I997 with a Bach¬elor of Physiotherapy and initially worked 18 months in England.

He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and a member of Physiotherapy Business Australia. He is registered to practice physiotherapy in Victoria. He is experienced in treating all type of injuries but has special interests in lower back, neck pain and headaches. He is registered for WorkCover, TAC and Veteran Affairs.

Justin is 35 years old and has been married with 4 children. He enjoys socialising with friends, going to the beach, cycling, golf and beach volleyball.

DENTIST

GS Dental BOH (DSc), GDip Dent 

Dr George Sergious is the Founder and Principal of GS Dental, George went on to complete his Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science which was followed by a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry at Griffith University in Queensland.

Dr George Sergious is an active member of various professional dental bodies such as the Australian Dental Association, International Team of Implantology, and the Australian Society of Endodontology. George enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry including implants, wisdom teeth under general anaesthetic or charside, orthodontics and general aesthetic dentistry.

George frequently attends post graduate education seminars and courses, both national and international. He has successfully completed the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry accreditation course. George recently travelled to the United States to participate and successfully complete and intensive education week at Harvard University and Tufts University.

When he is not working George enjoys staying active which means he may be out on his four-wheel drive exploring the outback or you might see him on his bike.

SPEECH PATHOLOGIST – MRS. DANIELLA WILLIAM

BSpPath (Bachelor of Speech Pathology)

Mrs. Daniella William is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who is available on a weekly basis. She graduated from La Trobe University in 2010 and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Daniella is a passionate clinician who has experience in assessment and intervention of the following areas: Receptive Language (Understanding Language, Comprehension), Expressive Language (Oral Expression), Literacy (Reading/Writing/Spelling), Articulation (Speaking), Stuttering and Social Skills. She has worked with people who have Global Developmental Delays, Severe Language Disorders, Learning Disabilities (e.g. Dyslexia), Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Stroke.

Daniella works with pre-schoolers, school-aged children and adults.

Daniella enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing soccer, baking, event planning and travelling.

OSTEOPATH – DR. VERONICA WILLIAM

Veronica William is a passionate Osteopath who graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne. Her aim as an Osteopath is to make a genuine difference in the lives of her patients and their quality of life through her treatment. She is a member of Osteopathy Australia, has experience treating conditions in all regions of the body and enjoys treating all ages, ranging from childhood to the elderly. Whether it be pain, stiffness, decreased function, poor posture, musculoskeletal manifestations of systemic or psychological conditions, injuries, acute or chronic presentations; Veronica will tailor her treatment uniquely to the individual and apply a holistic approach.

She enjoys travelling, road trips, exploring foods and desserts, spending time with her family and friends, and playing sports.

PODIATRIST – MILVA AGOSTINI

B.HSc.M.Pod

Milva  Agostini graduated from La Trobe University in Bundoora with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice and has been working as a podiatrist in Aged care and Private Practice. Milva’s scope of practice includes and is not limited to Orthotic therapy, Ingrown nail surgery, Diabetes assessments, and management, callus and corn debridement, Nail management and Footwear advice.

Milva is a yearly volunteer at the Oxfam 100km Trail walk event treating competitors. In her spare time she enjoys running ,cycling, reading and cooking.

 

PATHOLOGY:

Dorevitch Pathology is our onsite Pathology Centre. They provide a full range of pathology services, including:

  • Blood tests
  • Histology
  • Urine testing
  • Stool sampling
  • Fungal skin scrapings
  • Lactose intolerance testing
  • Breath testing
  • ECG’s
  • Cancer screening tests including Bowel, Prostate and Cervical cancer

All services are bulk billed and no appointments are required.

Test results are normally back within 2 working days, at which time you should make an appointment with your doctor to follow these up.

Pathology is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 12.30pm.
